The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's (UNL) Office of Communication and Marketing promotes Nebraska's brand and develops the institution’s strategic messaging. I serve as the project coordinator, guiding the design team and collaborating with campus partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-brand marketing and communication materials for the university. I have managed managing over 100 marketing projects, keeping them organized and on track to ensure successful completion.

I began teaching as a graduate assistant at UNL, overseeing multiple sections of the visual communications sequence while contributing to a sports media course. I continue to teach groups of about 20 students, helping them build a strong foundation in multimedia concepts while also teaching courses like Fundamentals of Editing and Reporting. Through hands-on projects, these students acquire skills that translate to the dynamic landscape of mass communications.
As the Assistant Director of Marketing for Academic Services and Enrollment Management at UNL, I led messaging efforts and worked with campus units to develop communications that were clear, consistent and aligned with organizational goals. The focus of my work was to showcase the unique opportunities available to special populations, driving a 25% increase in international applicants and a 6% rise in transfer applicants by the priority deadline.
During my time as a marketing intern at the University of Nebraska Foundation, I collaborated closely with the organization's mission of fostering relationships and securing resources to grow support for UNL. Specifically, I teamed up with the College of Engineering to conduct thorough research and develop compelling marketing materials to showcase the profound impact of donors.

HuskerVision is the media production arm within the Nebraska Athletic Department. Through immersive hands-on training, I gained valuable skills in live event production. I contributed to filming coverage for events like the Big Ten Men's Tennis Championship and produced shows for Husker sports teams, including basketball and baseball. Our partnership with networks such as the Big Ten Network enriched my experience.
As a marketing & event intern for the Lancaster Event Center, a non-profit that hosts events such as the National High School Finals Rodeo, I assisted with the project development and account management for regional and national events. We held the largest rodeo worldwide in the summer of 2021. It featured over 1,500 students and brought 110,000 visitors to the grounds. We ran the largest marketing campaign for the event, and it generated over $16M in economic impact for the Lincoln community.
